Chrysler LLC said it has finalized its deal to merge with Italian automaker Fiat and create a new Chrysler company both hope will be able to emerge from Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
When Chrysler filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection last month, it spelled out how it would merge with Fiat and what the new Chrysler company would entail. It also said it would reject 789 dealership agreements nationwide.
