This past week Ferrari F1 drivers Felipe Massa And Fernando Alonso took time out from their preparation for the 2010 F1 Championship title decider at Abu Dhabi to visit the theme park centered on the Prancing Horse marque. The two drivers got to experience the Formula Rossa, the world’s fastest roller coaster at the new Ferrari World theme park.
“Really incredible,” was the verdict of Fernando Alonso. “Thanks to this attraction, all lovers of speed, like us will be able to experience, for once in their lives at least, the unique sensation of being launched into the air at 240 kilometers per hour (149 mph), as well as enjoying what is a truly great day for all real Ferrari fans.”
Sadly, for Ferrari at least, Alonso missed his chance at this year’s F1 title, being beaten by German youngster Sebastian Vettel who was crowned the world champion following this past weekend’s Abu Dhabi GP.via
