2010 Ford Police Interceptor Concept


Ford unveiled its brand new, purpose-built Ford Police Interceptor sedan, featuring a police car that will exceed the durability, safety, performance and fuel economy of the car industry of the police leadership - Ford Crown Victoria - while confirming the production of Ford Police Interceptor utility vehicle.


Ford, the market leader in police vehicles for 15 years, designed and developed a brand new Ford Police Interceptor to handle the rigors of police work, including industry-leading powertrain, safety and innovation technology.

Ford has also added a Ford Police Interceptor is a second vehicle assembly business to provide customers with the selection of the best vehicle to suit their needs. Further information will be released in the third quarter.

To develop the new Ford Police Interceptor, Ford's engineers worked hand in hand with the Police Advisory Council of Ford for professionals in law enforcement who have provided comments on key attributes such as vehicle security, performance, durability driver comfort and functionality.

"Your feedback matters to us," said Scott Tobin, director of Ford range of vehicles to cars and crossovers. "The safety and durability were top of the list. Thus, safety and sustainability were above our own."
